If you’re having issues accessing CiM, ensure you’re attempting to sign into CiM or retrieve your username and/or password using the credentials associated with your AAMC account (e.g. username or email address). The email address associated with your AAMC account (and therefore used to deliver a password reset email and/or username) is likely a third-party email address (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) or an undergraduate email address used to take the MCAT® Exam or apply to medical school using AMCAS®, if applicable.
Do not click "Create Account." It is highly likely you already have an AAMC account, and doing so will create a duplicate account, which will not have access to CiM. Should you create a duplicate account, the AAMC account with access and the duplicate account without access to CiM will need to be consolidated, which will cause a delay in being able to sign into CiM.
If you’re unable to access CiM for any reason, read through the Account Help page for common issues and, if your issue is not listed, use the following instructions.
If your issue is not listed, scroll to the section, “Need additional assistance?” Answer questions No. 1 and 2, then click "View Contact Options."
Complete the entire form (required and non-required fields).
In the open text box, "How can we help you?", copy and paste the following items, then add your responses:
